Touch Me Once More

In an earlier post, Touch Me Not, I described my struggles with Touch Me yarn and my dismay when I discovered two of the four skeins had quality issues. (One skein had a large knot and the other had a series of short, unconnected pieces wound into it.)

Imagine my surprise when I saw that Kirstin Muench of Muench Yarns had seen my blog article and posted a comment. Clearly, she’s a savvy businesswoman who carefully monitors customer commentaries regarding the Muench brand and key product lines.

Kirstin offered to replace the flawed skeins, a generous and unexpected offer, which I accepted. The replacement yarn has arrived, and like all Touch Me yarn, it’s lush and lovely. Plus, it’s a delightfully deep, rich green.

Thank you, Kirstin, I appreciate both the yarn and the excellent business example you’ve modeled for all of us.

Last week, I said it would be awhile before I was willing to wrestle with this yarn again. Soon I suspect I’ll be eating those words, girding my loins and casting on with Touch Me once more.

UPDATE
It took me awhile, but some of this lovely yarn is turning into a soft, velvety forest of Christmas trees

  3. it's really good that your yarn was replaced; it's a very pretty colour. I hate it when you have yarn with knots and sections that are loosely attached!!! Have a knitty wednesday xx
