The Knitting Zone

Recently, I was looking at the schematics for my house. The simplified version below shows how the architect viewed the space when he designed it:

I'm willing to go out on a limb here and guess the architect was not a knitter. Because when I look at the same spaces through yarn-covered glasses, this is what I see:

Hmmmn. The entire house appears to be an extended Knitting Zone, which may explain why on occasion it looks like it’s been invaded by yarn.

So, what possibilities do you envision when you look around your own knitting zone living space?
