This particular collection has been sitting in the wings for
quite some time. I made it specifically as a gift set for a talented friend and
photographer.
Informally, I’ve been calling it the Hot Shot set, because yes,
she’s a hot-shot, award-winning photographer, and this hot, high-contrast combination matches her kitchen color scheme. (She took the lovely Flair sweater photos featured here.)
Highlights
Pattern: Hot Shot Kitchen Set (personal pattern)
Yarn: Four Seasons (Classic Elite)
Needles: US 8 (5 mm)
Ravelry notes: Here
This fast and easy garter stitch set consists of one dishcloth, one double-layered hot/cold pad and three tawashis. I just dropped it off yesterday, so we’ll see what she has to say. Meanwhile, as you can see, every piece is the personification of simple and straightforward. What can I say? Clearly, I have a very simple mind.

In other news, your feedback on the latest reversible cable
rib afghan has been extraordinarily helpful (thank you), and work is once again underway.
Wow, this set is stunning!
