Two weeks ago, I was bemoaning the fact that I'd cast on for yet another afghan, and I couldn't decide if that was a problem or a possibility. You reassured me that it was definitely the latter.
The combination of your encouragement and my confessed compulsion produced some progress.
Many of you will recognize the pattern, which is Breidan of course. I'm working on the fifth and final strip, and have about 65 rows to complete before bind off. If I can find a few small blocks of time, the strips will be finished, and I can move on to the next stage: Assembly.
We all know assembly isn't my greatest strength. It requires concentration and patience, two things that are in short supply some days. Plus, I'm slow.
Nonetheless, I will go out on a limb and say that so far, you've been right. It's a definite possibility that there will be another reversible cable rib afghan in the relatively near future.
Yes, It's WIP Wednesday, so do visit Tami's Amis and Frontier Dreams. Be sure to visit Small Things, too, to see the new addition to the family.
Although I've crocheted baby blankets, I've yet to attempt knitting a blanket of any size. I like the colors you've used to knit yours! Hope it comes together easily for you. Happy knitting!
