Like many of you, I enjoy making handknit gifts and decorations for the holidays.
While individual projects vary year to year, one thing has become a constant: Christmas trees. In recent years, I've knit more than I can count in varied sizes, yarns, weights and configurations.
Some are small, some are large.
Some are sweet and sturdy, some are soft and cushy.
Some are worked in conventional colors, some are not.
Last year, family and friends snapped them up like hotcakes, so this year, I'm getting a jumpstart on what has clearly become a new holiday tradition.
The sun is shining, it's hotter than Hades, but in my little corner of the universe, I'm celebrating Christmas in July.

Those are really nice. I see why family snags them up!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dianna, I'm so glad you like them. Luckily, they're a bit addictive, so as they get claimed I just make more :)
DeleteI love these trees! Is the pattern just in your head or somewhere someone less talented could find it? These would also make great gift tags.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you like them, Laura, and yes, they make great gift tags (and mug mats and ornaments and ...)
DeleteThe pattern is in development now and will be available soon.
Love these! They would make nice Christmas gifts. I'm glad I'm not the only one knitting Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah, and I, too, am glad to hear I'm not the only one knitting Christmas things ;)
