Things have been a bit hectic, as I've noted before. It seems this simple stitch combo is so embedded in my mind, it's the one thing I can knit late at night when my eyes are blurry and my brain is filled with fuzz.
If you count each strip as an FO, then I have three, count them, three FOs, with a fourth strip well underway. Technically, of course, the strips don't count until all the little bits come together to fulfill their destiny as yet another afghan. I intended to call this project Wind & Water, because when the light is right, the cables resemble waves on a windy day. However, a Ravelry friend said it reminded her of the ever-changing colors of Lake Erie, so it will be Breidan Lake instead.
For now, since a pile of strips isn't quite an FO, I'm calling it No FO Friday, or NoFoFri for short. It has a certain ring to it, don't you agree?
Have a lovely weekend, one and all. Meanwhile, it's Friday. You know the drill.
Wait, stripes count as FOs?!?! I'm never missing a Friday post again:) LOL. I love your reversible blankets and I'm struggling with a terrible case of start-itis myself. Who am I to judge?
ReplyDeleteSure! Let's pretend strips count as FOs. (Shhh, don't tell anyone. It'll be our secret!)
DeleteJust once, I wish I'd catch finish-itis, instead of start-itis.
Ha! Love that word "NoFoFri."
ReplyDeleteGlad you like it. Funny, I have more NoFoFri's than FOs ...
